Ride tub filler to take shower Rated 1 by Anonymous
Just put this in new house. The shower arm is too short. One would have to sit on the tub filler (faucet) to get a shower using the rain shower head. Swivel mount of head is insufficient to direct water far enough into the tub to make showering comfortable much less enjoyable. Pipe to head needs to be much longer or longer with an "S" configuration.

Shower arm length too short Rated 2 by PM
Easy to install...but the shower arm is too short. One has to has to stand near the wall to get wet. Not very comfortable. I would like to see what engineering can do to fix. The other problem is that the rain shower head does not have enough swivel range to compensate for the short shower arm. Is there an arm extension available?

Arm to short not enough pressure Rated 2 by Walt
The product looks good but there is not enough pressure so the water does not get into the shower. Great for a "rain" head but the short arm length makes it so you have to basically hug the wall to get wet.

Looks nice, almost useless because of short arm. Rated 2 by Kamala
No, I do not recommend this product.
I really wish I had found and read these reviews before buying this set. My issue is the same as everyone else's here - shower arm far too short and not enough tilt allowed in the rain head to get the water out far enough so that you don't have to be rubbing your body up against the wall the whole time you shower. I also don't understand how this design even made it to the stores. After taking my complaint to the store where I bought this set and being told that American Standard had indeed changed the shower arm sold with this set to a 12" one rather than a 6" one, I received and installed the new 12" arm today. It is indeed a little longer, but it is a totally different arm, ending in a downward curve and not in the 'green tea' style angled cut like the previous arm, or like the detailing of the rest of the set. Functionality of the shower with new arm is hardly any better. I am not literally rubbing up against the wall as much as I was, but am still so close to the wall that I repeatedly bonk into the faucet handle with my elbow, resulting in the water turning to cold, or off. Baffled that for the first time in my life I actually spent 'good money' on this sexy looking set and ended up with something far less useful and enjoyable than my super old, unsexy, frankensteined setup. Doesn't instill a lot of faith in the brand, or the place I bought it.
