American Standard T420.500.224 Oil Rubbed Bronze Portsmouth Valve Trim Kit. This Valve Only Trim Kit is equipped with a water conserving feature called FloWise. floWise is designed to save up to 40% in water usage annually. This Trim Kit also includes a wax thermostatic unit is designed to move between the hot and cold seat to maintain the pre-selected constant water temperature. These valves allow the water that enters the valve to pass through the spring-loaded check valves to prevent cross flow of hot and cold water. The American Standard T420.500.224 Oil Rubbed Bronze Portsmouth Valve Trim Kit features an adjustable limit stop that regulates the hot water that mixes with the cold water to prevent scalding. For use with R520 and R540 series valves.
