When exposed to heat, it will not fade in color and it can accommodate hot pans or pots - resisting heat up to 536 degrees F. Also, this anthracite sink is resistant to stains and scratches and to all household and alkali solutions. It requires a 27-inch outside cabinet. A template is included in the package. The bowl is 7-7/8 inches deep. This Blanco 518619 is suitable for island and above-counter installations only. Using this sink, you will be protected against dirt and bacteria as it has an impervious hygienic+plus shield. It is ANSI Z124.6-97-approved and IAPMO/UPC-listed which means that it has a design that is thoroughly evaluated for safe and sanitary plumbing systems.
