This malleable 1-1/2" x 1/2" Black Iron Bushing is specifically designed to hold two lengths of pipes, nipples, or different pipe parts together and direct the movement of the gas or liquid depending on the application. This fitting is equipped with standard iron pipe threads and a grooved end that allows the pipe to enter the fitting with ease. This bushing is designed to be used in a wide variety of applications including air, water, gas, and oil. This Fitting offers you quality and delivers top value in commercial and residential applications. When installing, be sure to apply Teflon tape and pipe dope (liquid sealant) to seal threaded joints, for a seal that will protect the building and jobsite from future leaks. Fitting is pressure tested before leaving the factory.
