The Braeburn 505 is a non-programmable mechanical thermostat designed for use with a heating system only. It is from the Braeburn 500 series that is a perfect alternative to mercury-bulb thermostats. Its exclusive Megaswitch magnetic switch technology makes this thermostat mercury-free, which is safe for the environment. This thermostat is compatible with low voltage single-stage gas, oil, or electric heating systems and it is recommended that the system has an electrical rating of 24 Volt AC (18-30 Volt AC), 250 - 750 mV. Its temperature range is between 50 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 32 degrees Celsius) and the thermostat anticipates a heat of 0.15 to 1.2 amperes. 

The Braeburn 505 mechanical thermostat has an integrated sub-base and front-mounted wiring terminals that help you install it easily and its plated terminals prevent it from corrosion.
