The Braeburn 2220 is a universal programmable thermostat. It can operate as a 2-heat/ 2-conventional system or a 2-heat/ 1-cool heat pump system. It is a part of Braeburn's economy series. Its rectangular-shaped design with a 3" square display is just the right size for any regular thermostat, and its white and simple feature complements any room theme in the household. The indicators on the screen and the system controllers are easy to understand that any non-HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) expert can understand. It has two arrow buttons used to increase or decrease a setting and buttons for 4 different modes: PROG - for programming mode, HOLD - to enter/exit the hold mode, RETURN - go back to normal from a program or setting mode, and DAY/TIME - sets the time and day of the week. It also has a system switch that lets you change your system preference from cooling to heating and a fan switch that enables you to shift fan settings from auto to on mode. Plus, the blue backlight is not blinding bright when being operated at night. And, same as any room thermostat there is in the market, the Braeburn 2220 has to be wall-mounted 5 feet off the floor.
