PVC and its fittings are glued together with special PVC glue that's designed to create a seal that is leak proof and durable. Schedule 80 PVC can withstand pressure as high as 1230 PSI and is ideal for pressure situations that demand more strength and durability than schedule 40 or a class 200 applications. All PVC Schedule 80 pipe is manufactured from a Type I, Grade I Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound. This means that it is generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants, and halogens. This CPVC 6" Elbow is ideal for creating bends and changing the direction of the water lines. |
