The trim also includes a pressure balance valve engineered to provide constant temperature to a shower, for a soothing and more enjoyable shower experience. Plus, a single function cartridge that controls both water volume and temperature.

The Danze D500544 comes with a back-to-back installation to prevent the hot water to cross the cold water pipes and vice versa. The valve can be installed in a way that reverses the hot or cold inlets to compensate. This trim also includes an escutcheon that covers the hole in the wall where the pipe comes through, for a more elegant and clean look. All required hardware for trim installation is included for easy and secure, rattle-free connections.

The Danze D500544 waterway is lead-free and meets the standards set by CSA B125, and it is labeled as water-efficient by UPC standards.
