Dura Fittings
Typically, a fitting is what is referred to when it connects two pieces of pipe together. Dura Plastic products has three different types of fitting available: barbed, threaded and glued.
- The barbed Dura Plastic fitting has barbed edges (several ledges pointing towards the pipe connection) that allows the funny pipe to be slipped over the edge of the pipe. Manifolds
A manifold is the finish product of a complete set of valves being hooked together. To create a manifold it consist of a variety of different parts from the valves to the manifold tees. To connect the pipe to the manifold a manifold entry tee is needed. This Dura Plastic tee is threaded on one end and smooth on the other. The smooth end fits on the pipe and the threaded end screws into another manifold tee. Once the correct amount of tees are connected together a manifold cap is needed to end the manifold line. Each tee as a threaded end that allows the valves to be screwed into it. Manifold tees can be purchased to connect one valve or up to four valves so you can customize how many valves you need.
