The shoe plug is also made of cast brass and the head, tee, and shoe of heavy-duty cast red brass. The rubber head gasket is patented to be adjustable and self-retaining. Supplied with the drain are cast red brass coupling nuts. The visible parts of the drain fitting are in chrome.
