About the HBX CPU-0550 Stand Alone Boiler Control Up to 3 Stages

The HBX CPU-0550 is a versatile and innovative boiler controller designed to be used in boiler staging, mixing, differential setpoint, dual setpoint, and pump sequencing. This stand-alone controller comes with 5 different modes that can be easily configured according to your application.

The Boiler Mode is used only when running boilers and can control up to three (3) On / Off boilers or one modulating boiler, while the Mixing Mode is used when running valves and mixing pumps. It can be set to Pulse Modulated Injection (PMIp), Modulating, or Floating Action Valve configurations. On the other hand, the Pump Sequencer Mode controls two (2) pumps by sequencing, overriding, and cycling between them. This control can also turn the pump off when the outdoor temperature goes above a certain value. Last but not the least, the Dual Setpoint Mode enables you to set up individual setpoints with their own thermistor input and relay outputs while the Differential Setpoint Mode allows you to operate a pump in modulating applications for uninterrupted flow.

The HBX CPU-0550 comes with two (2) 029-0022 Universal Brass Sensors (each with a 12” lead wire), the OUT-0100 Outdoor/Indoor Sensor, cable ties, and a 2.5mm terminal screwdriver for a convenient installation.
