It prevents an overflow or underflow when conventional two-way valves in multi-zone systems open or close. The actuator adjusts the control valve portion of the valves to the requisite flow based on heating or cooling load requirements. The Honeywell VRN2BB3S2A Fltg Picv 3/4 Inch Npt 1 0 Gpm is independent of supply pressure. Its actuator motion ends when the room controller is in stability and the valve is now set at finest flow. The built-in diaphragm controller balances for the adjustment if system head pressure changes which results to preserving the flow required by the control system without using the actuator.
