Thank you for visiting PlumbersStock.com! There are 3 places to look in order to shut the water flow off from the Irritrol 2623DPR-1 valve adapter. Make sure the Solenoid is threaded on completely, it should not easily twist one way or the other. If it is loose make sure and tighten it. Also, below the solenoid is a lever that can be turned/dialed to the right to eliminate water flow through the valve, and lastly, there is also a small black "bleed screw" to check. Make sure the bleed screw is also shut off by turning it to the right. If none of these solutions fix the problem it is possible that are is debris keeping the valve open. Rotating the bleed screw to the left a few times and leaving it on for a bit will flush the system (this will also allow the valve to come on) and hopefully clear the debris. If this options does not help you with the issue either, you may need to turn the water off a the source and remove the valve adapter for further inspections and possible replacement.
