It activates when the control panel signals High Oil or High Water. This Liberty OTC-115-5 OilTector Control and Alarm comes with a 50’ power cord. It runs on 115V single phase. It can work with pumps with a maximum of 1 hp. The alarm is powered by 120 VAC from standard wall outlets, transformed to 11VDC. A battery back-up can be provided by installing a 9V battery.
