From the manual : J3: This Jumper determines whether the display will be horizontally or vertically oriented.You can access the J3 jumper by removing the face plate of the thermostat.

The blinking flame icon means the thermostat is sending the signal for heat. Normally the flame icon is associated with a gas furnace but this thermostat is designed for a heat pump.

This thermostat is non-programmable. To increase desired temperature press the up button. to decrease, the down. for a few seconds the display will change from current room temperature to thermostat set temperature.

When the LuxPro PSDH121 Digital Non-Program Heat Pump Thermostat displays Out of Limit (OL), it means that the sensor is reading outside the thermostats display limit. You can fix this by removing the unit from the wall and its batteries (if installed). Wait for at least 6 minutes then reinstall. For more information you can refer here. Help I took the front off of thermo and the jumpers fell which, where do I put them back in all four together or with one exposed J-1
