I carry this knife everywhere. It seems a little heavy at first, but for me, it helps me remember if I've loaned it to someone or forgotten it somewhere. I lend it to people I trust because not everyone carries one. Without it I feel less of a man. One of my good friends has a benchmade branded knife, but I couldn't ever bring myself to spend any more money because I already have a knife that I love for a purely steal of a price. One handed opening puts this utiltiy knife above all the others. You might not realize how handy that is until you start using it. I can't wait to see Milwaukee's next generation of knives. I can't say I'm completely brand loyal, but I have intense respect for this product.

My current choice electrical knife Rated 5 by Anonymous
  Yes, I recommend this product.
I put in extensive research into each and every tool I buy. This is the knife I am using for all of my electrical work. It works lightning fast one hand operation with some practice and I have never cut myself in over a year of continuous (20-150 times a day) use with the Fastbacks (I and then II) I use this knife on everything from stripping wire, to detail work on drywall, to extracting slivers. For 3 wire, use it like a hawkbill. There are no hawkbills that can do what this knife can do - even the milwaukee one, so until there is, this is still the best knife.

Best utility knife/box cutter bar none! Rated 5 by Anonymous
This is the fastest opening/closing utility knife on the market. The handle is ergonomic, it fits your hand like a glove. The storage space for extra blades is a major plus. All metal construction doesn't feel cheap like many other knives on the market. Clip on side allows the knife to be easily carried on a pocket or belt. With the push of button the razor blade is unlocked and can be replaced with ease.

Better than the original Fastback!!!!!! Rated 5 by Anonymous
I have been waiting for the update of my favourite utility knife for some time. But when I opened it and compared it to the original fastback it was a little thicker and slightly heavier. So for the past three days i have been carrying both knifes with me at work and testing each in every situation. The Fastback 2 is the winner in every application. At first I thought the extra thickness and weight would be negative factors, but the opposite is true. Due to the increased thickness there is a better grip and the thumb is better positioned, not overhanging the knife body. The overall body shape has changed and is more contoured which results in better control. The increased contour also forces the blade tip slightly downwards and the added mass insures better blade contact. Of course the magnetic blade holder is awesome!!! It great to know that someone is thinking about how to improve everyday hand tools.
