Good day! We're sorry to hear about that. Some faucet caps unscrew, and some simply pop free. The technique for unsticking a stubborn cap depends on whether it pops or screws, but either way, basic tools can help if you can't remove the cap by hand. Here are the following steps.1. Wrap the head of an adjustable wrench in a scrap of cloth. Fit the wrench around the cap and attempt to unscrew it, turning it counterclockwise. Caps which unscrew should loosen under the pressure of the wrench, and the cloth protects the finish on the cap.2. Examine the cap for a small indentation where the cap meets the faucet piece under it. Most pop-off caps have such an indentation. Insert a thin knife or flat screwdriver into the indentation and pry off the cap.3. Apply a few drops of oil-based lubricant to the cap if it still won't come off. Allow the lubricant to sit for several minutes, then try twisting or prying off the cap again. We hope that this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further question about this product. We thank you for choosing We are always happy to help you!
