It features the M-CORE valve system that has pressure-balancing capabilities and helps preserve your desired water temperature even when water is being used in different areas of the home. The M-CORE valve system is a notable innovation that offers all the bells and whistles with only one goal in mind; to make your dream shower into reality! This system is equipped with awesome features that are helpful in making that goal happen, like the integrated mounting bracket that holds the valve in place and streamlines the installation process. It also comes with a test plug to easily test the system without the need to install or remove the cartridge, along with the temperature limit stop that offers quicker adjustments when the need to change the temperature arises.Â
This valve system offers the same features as the Moentrol but with just a few upgrades that are remarkable and the first to offer this in the market. The game-changer feature that installers and homeowners are really excited about is that every suite collection offers a compatible trim with a wide variety of finishes in every valve configuration (CC/IPS, Crimp PEX, Cold PEX, and WIRSBO). On top of that, this M-CORE 3-Series trims offer a cleaner look with no visible screws, unlike their predecessors, making it easier to clean and maintain while providing a new level of sophistication. With that said, the trim now includes the cartridge and are packaged together. Please note that there is no backward compatibility with the old trims. This collection offers all the valves that you will need from shower only mixing valves, tub/shower mixing valves, mixing valves w/ diverters, diverter valves, and even pre-fab tub/shower mixing valves (where the tub el is already connected) for your maximum convenience. Please note that this trim requires the M-CORE tub/shower trim valve (sold separately) to complete the installation.
