If your manual says that you need the Peerless RP5266 diverter, then, definitely, this is not the diverter that you're looking for. This Peerless RP41702 diverter is used for the following Peerless Faucet models: P299568LF, P299575LF, and P299578LF. I have a faucet that also uses the RP70007 diverter (AquaSource 67157-1008D1) and would like to know if this diverter will fit?

However, the diverter kit for the Peerless P226LF is the Peerless RP70254 diverter assembly.
