Not as shown Rated 2 by BFanning
No, I do not recommend this product.
I selected Serrano for all of my bathrooms and the sink faucets are great but the shower handle for Serrano protrudes from the wall much further than shown causing problems. Also the mechanism for turning the handle is very sticky and makes setting the temperature extremely difficult. I find I'm either in tepid or scalding water. The ORB color matches the other equipment I have and it's a nice subdued color.

My husband and I bought this 10 years ago and it still works beautifully. No leaks and the finish is like the day we bought it!! Thanks for providing us with a quality product!

Multiple valve failures and replacements Rated 3 by Tomski
No, I do not recommend this product.
My Pf shower valve is an older model but similar to this one and appears to use the same internal mechanism. It was said to be internally balanced so it could not scald you if the incoming water temperature changed suddenly. I find this feature to cause more of a restriction thus preventing full flow as opposed to preventing people from scalding. Everyone is my house is older and has the ability to turn the water temp down manually if they think it's getting too warm. I am currently on at least the third new valve assembly (internal cartridge) which has been redesigned several times. The most frequent failure is water leaking past the valve causing the shower head to drip continuously. The good news is Pf sends me a new valve with no hassle and it takes only minutes to change out. The down side of the valve is that there is no adjustment for the amount of water flow, it only adjusts temperature. I did not realize this when I purchased the valve and re-plumbed the shower wall, so rather than take it back and have to re-do the plumbing in the wall, I stuck with it and here I am. I believe that Pf builds a quality product but as with many devices it is/was not thoroughly tested. I am an automobile technician by trade for the past 30+ years and have spent far too much time repairing faults and defects created by so-called engineers. It seems serviceability is not a priority for engineers.
