  • Turn off water supply leading to work area
  • Remove face plate and linkage
  • From behind the bathtub, remove overflow washer
  • Replace with new tub overflow washer
  • Use larger molded clips to attach washer to bath drain. Smaller molded clips should protrude through the tub opening
  • Reassemble linkage and place in original position
  • Screw face plate in position
  • Rubber clip on washer
