Centrifugal Pumps

About Centrifugal Water Pumps

Centrifugal pumps are great options for a variety of applications. This type of pump is named for the manner in which it operates. They convert rotational kinetic energy (from an electric motor or an engine) into fluid flow. Like most pumps, the centrifugal pump uses an impeller. Common uses include water, sewage, and more, but those two are typically what contractors and homeowners would be using them for.

Types of Centrifigual Pumps

We carry a variety of options in terms of voltage, size, and motor size. Centrifugal pumps range from slightly expensive to very expensive, so be sure you get what you need and nothing more. One common type of centrifugal pump is the horizontal split case pump, which allows for easy access to the bearings, impeller, shaft, etc. so that you can repair it conveniently.
