Progress Lighting's P821-AT is a 6" recessed housing with 1/2" and 3/4" knockouts that is used for new construction applications. It has a notched steel housing for chalk line alignment. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides, a grounding pigtail, and a socket that mounts to the trim for optimum performance and consistent lamp position. Progress Lighting has been committed to providing a diverse selection of high-quality lighting fixtures for over 100 years. This 6" Recessed Housing fits into a 2 x 8 construction. It includes integral nail bar hangers with integral T-bar mounting clamps for wood joist construction. It has a Trim-Lok action that forces the trim to fit snugly against the ceiling. This product has overall dimensions of 8 3/8" x 13" x 7 1/2" with a 6 7/8" ceiling opening. Safety is ensured as this P821-AT Incandescent Housing garnered a certification from the UL-CUL, an independent product safety certification organization which is recognized nationally.
