About the Progress Lighting P85-TG

Progress Lighting's P85-TG is a 5" Non-IC recessed housing. It features a universal junction box with snap-out sides, a removable housing for field inspection of wiring, and a grounding pigtail ideal for device grounding applications. This P85-TG Lighting Fixture includes integral nail bar hangers with integral T-bar mounting clamps for wood joist construction. It has overall dimensions of 7 7/8" x 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" with a 5 1/4" ceiling opening. Progress Lighting has been known for making first-rate lighting fixtures. This Non-IC Recessed Housing is of galvanized steel construction. It has a porcelain socket with anickel-plated brass screw shell. Its has a positive upward spring action that forces the trim to fit snugly against the ceiling. It is Non-IC rated and UL-CUL-listed for damp location. This product is manufactured by Progress Lighting, a credible name in the lighting industry.
