Schedule 80 PVC can withstand pressure as high as 1230 PSI and is ideal for pressure situations that demand more strength and durability than schedule 40 or a class 200 applications. All PVC Schedule 80 pipe is manufactured from a Type I, Grade I Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) compound. This means that it is generally resistant to most acids, bases, salts, aliphatic solutions, oxidants, and halogens.
