This PVC80MA12 is a Schedule 80 PVC male adapter that is used to connect Female National Pipe Thread (FPT) pipes. To have this adapter fully functional, it is recommended to use Teflon tape for threaded joints. At the same time, you will need to use approved PVC primer and solvent cement to make PVC joints. Normally, this fitting is used in the drainage portion of the DWV system. This black-colored adapter is manufactured and constructed in the US. It comes with a Socket x MNPT connection type. This 1/2" male adapter is rated for a maximum internal pressure of 150 PSI. Furthermore, this injected-molded PVC fitting is certified for potable water service by NSF international manufactured in strict compliance to ASTM D2467 for product safety.
