About the Commodity
This PVCB3414ST Schedule 40 PVC bushing is a plumbing fitting that allows you to connect two sections of pipes together. The two connections of the bushing are different, it has a 3/4" slip connection on one end and a 1/4" threaded connection on the other. Moreover, just like many other fittings, this bushing uses approved PVC primer and solvent cement to make PVC joints. A Teflon thread tape is recommended for threaded joints. This fitting is great for water transportation applications such as irrigation and sprinkler systems. However, they should never be used for gas or compressed air applications. With its functionality, this fitting is widely demanded in the pipe fitting market as it meets ASTM D1785 standards for quality assurance and is ISO-certified for product safety.
