This Schedule 80 PVC 2"x4" Nipple is a fitting that allows you to connect multiple fittings together, and make short runs of pipe without the hassle of cutting and threading. This Nipple features two tapered and threaded male connections ideal for a snug and leak free connection when installed correctly. (Teflon tape or Pipe dope is required for a leek free connection). This Schedule 80 PVC 2"x4" Nipple is great for water transportation applications such as irrigation and sprinkler systems. However they should never be used for gas or compressed air applications. This Nipple has a maximum operating temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Schedule 80 pipe is also more corrosion resistant and durable than other pipe options, making this fitting ideal for light chemical commercial applications.
