About the Reed EHTP500C

Reed's EHTP500C is an Electric Hydrostatic Test Pump. It has a 2-Gallon, 500 PSI capacity. It weighs 48 lbs. This pump is designed for pressure testing water systems such as water meters, plumbing lines, pressure vessels, solar systems, and sprinkler systems, in both residential and commercial buildings. A standard 110V outlet is required and the electric motor is UL certified. It's output pressure is easily adjusted simply by turning a knob and watching the attached gauge. It has a built-in bypass that allows for automatic water recirculation once the set pressure is reached. When the test pump is turned off, it can be easily disconnected from the test system and taken elsewhere or stored away. The hose-to-pump connection features a quick disconnect with built-in check valve, which allows for convenient setup and portability. Each test pump includes a high pressure EHTPOUTHOSE for filling the system.
