Reed's SC1 is a Scissor Shear. It has a 1.3" capacity. It weighs .3 lbs. This pair of shears squeezes together for fast cutting of thin walled and small diameter PE, PEX, rubber, or nylon tubing. They feature a new grip design for more secure hold. Regular replacement of the industrial-grade, nonstick coated blade is recommended. There is a also a tough, stainless steel blade option available (SC1BSS) which is better for cutting PVC.
