About the Reed SSO1CReed's SSO1C is a Standing Shut-Off Tool. It has a 3/4 In. - 1 In. capacity. It weighs 16 lbs. This tool compresses PE plastic tubes to stop the flow of water. It uses 30" handles to develop a clamping force in a manner similar to a pair of bolt cutters. The long handles make for easy shut-off from above the ditch with a chain (not included) to hold the tool closed, and is not intended for gas service lines. |
