Rigid 97965 Universal Die Head for 1/8"-2" Pipe Right Hand Cut Direction is a must for threading pipes for this size diameter. The Die Head can be mounted onto several different threading machines, not only Rigid Threading Machines but Wheeler Rex Threading Machines as well. The Dies in the head can be easily changed and if the Die Head is mounted to a machine the Die Head does not need to be removed from the machine for die changes. The multitude of different dies available for use in the Rigid 97965 Universal Die Head for 1/8"-2" Pipe are easy to change in and out of the die head. Dies have notches designed into them that will click into position inside the die head with its spring balls that catch the die and allow the operator to easily know when the dies are correctly installed in the Universal Die Head. And the die blades are designed with a two-step cut method which provides a very stable bite into the pipe, allowing any external coating to be removed as the pipe is cut at the same time. Dies from Wheeler Rex are marked for easy identification of the type of pipe and the sizes they are designed to cut .
