The Sharkbite valve has a brass construction that is compatible with CPVC, PEX and Copper. This fitting contains a chrome plated ball valve that spins opening up the passage through the fitting and into the pipe/tube. It also has a max temperature of 180 Fahrenheit.

When you insert a pipe into the SharkBite quick connect fittings, the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe, while the specially formulated O-ring compresses to create the perfect watertight seal.
