This 18"x16" Shoemaker 3000-P is designed to fit and cover an 18" wide by 16" high opening. This Shoemaker Parallel Blade Air Control Damper 3000-P Series has a 16-gauge galvanized channel frame. Its blades, which are parallel to the first dimension given, are designed to control air flow. The blades are of galvanized material and are vee-stiffened for added strength and stability. Additionally, the blades pivot on high temperature nylon bushings. This damper has ½” square zinc-plated steel pivot pins and a ½” square zinc-plated steel adjustable operating shaft that extends up to 4” beyond the air control frame. It features single blades on dampers with a height of 10” or less and double blades on dampers with a height of 8" or 10" (i.e. 3000-P-8x8 DB). Its blades must be operated on a horizontal plane. It is available from a minimal size of 6"x6" to a maximum size of 48"x48". This parallel blade air control damper comes with a mill finish. Please measure the hole opening size instead of measuring the face plate of your old damper. Please note that this damper is designed to fit over an 18"x16" existing hole or duct.
