The 901 series airfoil aluminum blades are adjustable and run parallel to the longest dimension. It provides 2-way airflow on one plane. It runs quietly because of nylon bushings that prevent metal from rattling. The grille does not come with a damper, you need to look to the 901-O series. The Shoemaker 901 Series Aluminum Airfoil Blade Single Deflection can be ordered with "F" Torx center pin tamper-proof screws for added security.
