The Shoemaker 916-48X8 aluminum air grille is designed to fit and cover a 48" (length) x 8" (width) air duct opening. This vertical grille has a Soft White finish but it is also available in Driftwood Tan, along with other optional designer colors and plated metal finishes. This Shoemaker 916-48X8 vent cover comes with extruded aluminum bar blades positioned at a 45-degree angle and that are also placed parallel to the shortest dimension; allowing a minimal view of the air duct. It is of rigid aluminum construction which has high resistance to corrosion. For a streamlined continuous look, the center margins of this air grille are placed on the backside. Please note that this vent cover is usually mounted in walls and/or ceilings. Be sure to measure the hole opening size instead of measuring the faceplate of your old grille.
