The 931 series offers single deflection surface mount grille with adjustable steel blades. The blades provide 2-way airflow on one plane as they run parallel to the longest dimension. There is no opposed blade damper. If you want that feature, then you need the 931-O series. Manually operate the opposed blade damper using a screwdriver (it's recessed).
