This galvanized 12" x 6" Shoemaker RS34-GALV Series Spiral Pipe Vent Cover is designed to fit and cover a 12" wide by 6" high opening. The Shoemaker RS34-12X6G is manufactured from galvanized steel that went through a chemical process to keep it from corroding. The same process also gave the steel a more durable, hard to scratch finish. This diffuser is designed with a single-piece curved frame that has a foam gasket for a tight seal. Its blades have nylon bushings for easy adjustment and quiet settings. The front louvers on this particular air-grille run parallel to the shortest dimension while the back louvers run parallel to the longest dimension. This diffuser is available in sizes that will fit spiral pipe diameters of 8" – 48". (The spiral pipe's diameter must be 4" larger than the width of the diffuser.)
Unlike other competing products, Shoemaker grilles have a baked-on textured polyester powder coat that can resist scratches and does not wear or fade out easily. Be sure to measure the hole opening size instead of measuring the face plate of your old grille. The Shoemaker RS34-12X6G is designed to fit over a 12" x 6" existing hole or duct.
