Powered by a liquid-filled thermostatic motor, the control mechanism operates without the need for additional power sources. A stainless steel sliding piston control mechanism featuring fixed and variable cold water bypass ensures dependable temperature regulation with reverse seat closure.

Should the cold water supply be interrupted, the control mechanism promptly closes the hot water port, halting all water flow. In a hot water supply disruption, the mechanism enables cold water passage through fixed and variable bypass paths.

Even if the liquid motor malfunctions, the control mechanism reliably closes the hot water port through the reverse seat, ensuring comprehensive safety.
