About the 3/8" x 20" Lavatory Supply Tube PEX

Viega 3/8" x 20" Lavatory Supply Tube PEX. PEX is part of the water supply piping system and has several advantages over metal pipe (copper, iron, lead) and plastic pipe (PVC, CPVC, ABS) systems. Some of those advantages are; It is flexible, resistant to scale and chlorine, doesn't corrode or develop pinholes, quicker installation than metal or rigid plastic, and has fewer connections and fittings. The standard method for connecting PEX pipe to brass PEX fittings is to use a copper crimp ring and a PEX crimping tool. The copper crimp ring is inserted over the pipe, the fitting is inserted inside the pipe, and the copper ring is crimped over the pipe and fitting using the PEX crimping tool. Once the ring has been crimped properly, the tool can be removed and you'll have a all but perfect sealed pipe and fitting. This 3/8" x 20" Lavatory Supply Tube PEX is designed to run from the water source to the faucet or toilet as the main supply line of water.
