The T&S Brass 5EF-TMV Thermostatic Mixing Valve mixes hot with cold water, ensuring safe and constant shower outlet temperatures. It is designed for an above-deck installation. It is a convenient water fixture perfect for a variety of residential and commercial applications. This T&S Brass Thermostatic Mixing Valve has 1/2” NPSM male fittings. It has a locking temperature adjustment knob pre-set to provide a mixed water temperature of around 100 degrees F maximum. It utilizes check valves to assure a single direction of water flow, preventing thermal siphoning of cold water to the hot water supply. The inlets of its integral check valves utilize filter screens to remove foreign particles from the stream of water. Its brass body is resistant to corrosion.
