3" PVC Schedule 40 Ball Valve. PVC is designed for above or below ground and even DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) applications. PVC can be used for both commercial and residential plumbing construction. PVC and its fittings are often glued together with special glue that's designed to create a seal that is leak proof and durable like the pipe. This Valve however uses 3" Female NPT threads.
