Blades easily removed or attached with a Philips (cross) head screwdriver. Wheeler Rex 700155 Bevel Blades are crafted with a perfect and standard degree angle to their blades. When installed into any of Wheele Rex's Chamfering & Depth Gauge Tools it easily adds the required chamfer to the end the matching polyethylene pipe without having to file by hand or check the angle regularly. These Wheeler Rex 700155 Bevel Blades when installed and used in the appropriate sized tool removes any burrs from the polyethylene pipe's cut edge or the original knife like edge from manufacturing; allowing the pipe end to slip in easily into the joint, offsetting the glue and directing the glue up over the pipe allowing the glue to spread out evenly over the gluing surfaces not out of the way thus helping to create a superior, strong, and guaranteed glue bond and joint.
