The Wheeler Rex 7922 replacement chain allows the 79022 Glass Tube Cutter to be a versatile tool that can be used on a variety of brittle tubular materials including: all types of gauge glass, laboratory glass tubing, neon sign tubing, oil burner electrodes, porcelain insulators, thermocouple protection tubes, and other such small glass tubing. The tool is small enough to carry in a pocket easily added to a tool box and almost as simple to use as a pair of pliers, the difference the Wheeler Rex original "Squeeze and Pop" principle. The handles are opened wide and then the chain wrapped around the tube and hooked into the nearest chain pin into upper hooked jaw.
