The Woodford 17PX-12-MH Wall Faucet has a rough-in mounting depth of 12" with an overall length of 13 7/8". The "PX" designation in the part number signifies a 1/2" PEX tube fitting on the end of the inlet tube. This freezeless faucet from Woodford will not break from freezing when the valve is shut off and the hose is removed. This Woodford 17PX-12-MH faucet comes with a metal handle. Howdy! Thanks for posting your question here on PlumbersStock concerning the Woodford 17PX-12-MH Freezeless Wall Faucet. One of the reasons why the top cap leaks is because it might have loosened. What you'll need to do is to tighten the top cap a little bit more. Another customer had the same problem with yours and it ended with this one simple solution.
