This FG1 series stamped face filter grille has louvers with 1/2-inch spacing. The filter housing accommodates filters that are 1-inch thick. If you have a square grille, it's a 4-way reversible door. If rectangular, then it's just 2-way. It's got a hinge that opens parallel to the longest side. It's easy to access and clean. The filter retention tabs hold it into place. Shoemaker products will last you a long time, but parts will wear, and you can find replacements here when they do.

These 8” filter grilled are tough to find at a reasonable price. It took some time to receive, but it was worth the wait.
