If the screen of your weather station has turned black, it may be due to the backlight being turned off or to an ongoing atomic time search, which momentarily turns off the LCD backlight. To turn the back light back on, press and hold the LIGHT HI/LO button. If the latter is the case, you can press the +/RCC button to stop the search, which should turn your backlight on.
