The Moen FP62385 is a Posi-Temp pressure-balancing valve with a cold expansion PEX connection. It has four ports and a pre-installed test plug with a cartridge. This pressure-balancing valve has an adjustable temperature limit stop to control the utmost hot water temperature. It lets the valve be flushed, pressure-tested, and soldered without damaging the cartridge. The pressure balancing mechanism keeps the selected discharge temperature at plus or minus 3 degrees Fahrenheit. It is of brass construction, making this pressure-balancing valve stand the test of time. This valve with a cold expansion PEX connection for inlets is built on the Moen M-PACT common valve system, which lets you update the faucet style in the future without replacing any plumbing. With the Posi-Temp, keeping your desired temperature in the shower is easier. It meets the requirements of the ASME A112.18.1/CSA B-125.1 and the ASSE 1016. It is also compliant with the ASTM F-1960.
