Great fit easy to install solved my problems

Part looked well made, not like it might pull apart. It fit perfectly into my Clayton Mark yard hydrant.

I finally installed one of the plungers and setup the frost free hydrant, an old Clayton - no drips, leaks or running water from the nozzle. It saved me replacing the whole hydrant or more parts just by replacing the plunger, works perfectly! Unscrewed the old plunger, cleaned up the threads and screwed on the new plunger, a piece of cake! Getting of the head of the hydrant was the hardest part, watch a YouTube to see how it's done, I did!
I have half a dozen old Clayton hydrants around here that are not installed. When I get ready to install one I'll pull the head off & check the plunger. The price of these plungers make the installation as good as new for a lot less money.

Among about 15 Clayton hydrants, only twice has one failed (in 20 years) and that only the plunger (rubber) tip. Worst problem is getting it apart to get to the bottom of the control shaft
Thanks for a very prompt shipment.

Watch it- repair kit at Lowe's has "red handle " plunger but it's brass fitting is too long. My Clayton Mark is flush with the rubber top, but threads are 3/8". Check the threaded diameter!

I never thought I would find this part. I allowed me to fix the water hydrant and avoid buying an expensive new one. Was easy to install and works perfectly.
