when what you're searching for isn't widely available chances are you'll pay a lot for that item however plumber stock.com had the best price and it was in stock.

How do you make it stop running? Adjusting the screw all the way right or left makes no difference.

Good day! I'm sorry to hear that your Toto TSU16A fill valve assembly isn't working well. In order to stop it from running, you need to adjust the height of the fill valve assembly. Simply twist the valve assembly and slide down about half of an inch or so. Then, twist it back for it to be secured in place. If you got the type that has a ball float, bend the arm that connects to the float down. If you need further assistance, it would be best to contact the manufacturer at 1-888-295-8134. Lower water level

Hi! Your inquiry about our Toto TSU16A part fill valve assembly is deeply appreciated. According to Toto, the TSU16A valve has a screw on the top which will lower or raise the water level in the tank. Counter clockwise to lower the water level and clockwise to raise the water level. When toilet is flushed when it is filled the filter makes a hi pitch sound. How do I stop this?

With regard to your question, the high-pitched sound you hear as your toilet refills means either that the fill valve needs a new gasket or you need a new valve.
